Here are a few important things to know before ordering a saliva hormone test:

1. We are unable to ship ZRT lab kits to California, Maryland or New York
2. Names on results that do not match the purchaser's name will greatly delay delivery of results.
3. Results are returned to you within 5 to 7 business days from the date the labs receives your sample. 

Saliva testing is a convenient and accurate means of testing steroid hormones.

Scientific studies have shown a strong correlation between steroid hormone levels in saliva and the amount of hormone in the blood that is active or "bioavailable."

It is this fraction of total hormone that is free to enter the target tissues in the brain, uterus, skin, and breasts. Saliva testing can be done anywhere anytime.
