I am 45 years old, a lifetime runner, healthy, but started wearing orthodontics in my 20’s.
I had weak feet so I thought that I needed the best running shoes and orthodontics. To the point that my big toe almost touched my middle toe. And the rest of my toes started curling. Also, I constantly had issues with runners knee.
Then, I got plantar fasciitis for about 3 years. I tried everything that I could think. I logged my results in an Excel spreadsheet. I was always optimistic that the next thing would fix it. My wife got tired of hearing about it.
It hurt so bad, if I would have continued that course, I would have been lame at 50 yrs old. That’s crazy!
I got my first pair of CorrectToes 2 years ago. I bought Lem’s shoes to go with them.
This was not a quick fix, but it is a permanent fix. I still wear my correcttoes everyday and night.
These are the things that are better now...
Running- pain free
Plantar Fasciitis- gone
Tender heal- gone
Stronger foot- I go barefoot around the house and in the yard
Runners Knee- gone
More stable balance- Now, I can stand on 1 foot.
Calf Cramps- it seems weird but I would get a lot of random calf cramping. I think that my leg, calf, and feet muscles were out of balance.
Generally speaking- it blows my mind when I see people in narrow shoes that are slowing mis-aligning their feet that will cause all kinds of problems.
