Thorne Basic Prenatal is a daily multi-vitamin / mineral for women. It's made to be gentle and effective for women who are pregnant, trying to conceive or lactating. 

This is a pure, clean multivitamin with the best available nutrients - for example it contains the active forms of folate (5-MTHF) and vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin), and a gentle form of iron (iron bisglycinate) that won't upset your stomach or constipate you.

Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under six. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.

Folinic acid and 5-methyltetrahydrofolate supplementation is not recommended with methotrexate cancer therapy, it can interfere with methotrexate's anti-neoplastic activity. However, the folate source found in this product has not been shown to interfere with the anti-inflammatory activity of methotrexate. An individual taking methotrexate for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis can safely take a supplement containing folate.
